What is Fantasy Sports?

In a traditional fantasy sports game, fantasy sports players compete against others by drafting real players and building a team of real professional athletes from a particular sport type such as basketball, and earn points based on the actual statistical performance of the players in real-world competitions. A traditional fantasy sports games starts on the draft day and goes over an entire season.

What is Daily Fantasy Sports?

Daily fantasy sports are an accelerated variation of traditional fantasy sports that are conducted over short-term periods, such as a week or even a single day of competition, as opposed to those that are played across an entire season.

PBA Daily Fantasy Basketball

PBA Daily Fantasy Basketball is a series of "contests”, where users pay an entry fee in order to participate and build a fantasy team by drafting real life PBA basketball players. Their choice of players is limited by the assigned budget or “Salary cap” and the salary of each basketball player. Then they may sit back and watch the real life games as each one of the basketball players receives a score based on his actual performance in each game on the game day. The scores of all players in each fantasy team are then tallied up and the team with the highest score wins the pot. PBA Basketball is played for virtual money and winnings may not be cashed out. Users may however, purchase virtual money and participate in as many contests as they wish. These steps are simplified as follows:

1. Pick one or more contests

2. Choose your basketball players and build a fantasy team

3. Save and submit your fantasy team

4. Watch real games and win!
